CEC TITLE 20 is the energy efficiency regulations for Consumer Electronics and Home Appliances, established by the California Energy Commission (CEC), aimed at promoting energy efficiency and conservation measures. The regulations are designed to enhance the efficiency of electrical products, save energy, and reduce gas emissions and greenhouse effects. This regulation applies to Emergency Lighting Equipment products, including LED Emergency Drivers and Emergency Lighting Inverters also includes some performance requirements:

Energy Efficiency Requirements: LED Emergency Drivers and Emergency Lighting Inverters must comply with energy efficiency standards to ensure reasonable energy consumption in both normal and emergency modes.

Automatic Testing Function: LED Emergency Drivers and Emergency Lighting Inverters should be equipped with an automatic testing function to periodically monitor the system’s operation status and battery performance, and provide features such as alarms or indicator lights.

Emergency Duration: LED Emergency Drivers and Emergency Lighting Inverters need to provide a certain duration of lighting in emergency mode, typically at least 90 minutes, to ensure sufficient illumination during power failures or emergencies.

Compatibility Requirements: LED Emergency Drivers and Emergency Lighting Inverters should be compatible with various types of LED luminaires to accommodate different installation and application needs.

Safety Requirements: LED Emergency Drivers and Lighting Inverters must comply with relevant safety standards and requirements to ensure electrical safety and reliability during use.
