Phenix Lighting All-Metal Waterproof IP66 LED Test Switch

As a crucial accessory for Phenix Lighting emergency drivers and inverters, the LED test switch plays an essential role in ensuring the functionality of these systems. Did you know that in addition to our standard IP20 LED test switch, we also offer an all-metal, waterproof IP66 LED test switch called the LTS-IP66?

The LTS-IP66 can be purchased separately and used as a replacement for the conventional LED test switch provided with Phenix Lighting emergency drivers.

Engineered with a robust waterproof design, utilizing high-quality 316 stainless steel and silicone waterproof materials, the LTS-IP66 boasts an IP66 waterproof and dustproof rating. This makes it suitable for long-term exposure to outdoor environments with heavy rain and dust. Other than its waterproof feature, the LTS-IP66 shares the same functionalities as the LTS-IP20. It is a crucial component for all Phenix Lighting emergency module products, allowing users to perform various testing functions (emergency switching tests, manual tests, monthly and annual tests) and personalize program settings (such as choosing different emergency outputs or pausing specific functions) by applying different press commands to the LTS. The LED indicator on the LTS provides real-time status updates of the emergency system (charging status, full status, emergency status, testing status, fault warnings, etc.).

Applications of the LTS-IP66 Test Switch

Phenix Lighting offers a professional all-metal, IP66-rated LED test switch suitable for all Phenix Lighting emergency LED drivers and inverters.

The LTS-IP66 LED test switch is mainly applied in the following scenarios:

  1. When the emergency module is installed inside the luminaire, and the LED test switch becomes the only exposed component, requiring installation on a waterproof luminaire housing or remote placement in an outdoor environment.
  2. When the emergency module or inverter itself holds an IP65 or higher waterproof and dustproof rating. For instance, in the case of Phenix Lighting’s 18430X-6 series products, since the emergency module itself holds an IP66 rating, the LTS-IP66 serves as the standard LED test switch.

If the LTS can be installed inside the luminaire, from a cost perspective, we suggest you opt for the standard LTS-IP20 LED test switch.

Wiring for the LTS-IP66 is the same as LTS-IP20, directly connecting the two leads to the corresponding terminals on the Phenix Lighting emergency module. The installation aperture for LTS-IP66 is also compatible with LTS-IP20.

In conclusion, the LTS-IP66 LED Test Switch enhances the convenience of emergency lighting solutions. Its reliable structural design and material selection ensure stable operation even in harsh outdoor conditions, immune to dampness, water splashes, or dust interference.
